Eleni poulakis PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT/DN
Owner, Dr. Eleni Poulakis, completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Before launching Lincoln Park Physical Therapy, Dr. Poulakis was on staff at Northwestern Medicine's Center for Comprehensive Orthopaedic and Spine Care since 2014, working alongside the top orthopaedic doctors in Chicago.
OrthopAedic Clinical Specialist
Dr. Poulakis's strong passion and care for physical therapy pushed her to become a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, which as of 2020, was held by less than 10% of physical therapists. In addition to that, Dr. Poulakis is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist-Dry Needling, as well as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She has also had specific training in the McKenzie Method, Blood Flow Restriction training, advanced sports rehab, manual techniques, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.
What to expect
Dr. Poulakis's model to physical therapy treatment is based on a one-on-one model for a full hour. A customized and evidence-based treatment plan is created for each patient, utilizing a total body approach.
With extensive training, experience, certifications, and a strong passion to help those in pain, Dr. Poulakis is able to create the most optimal patient result and help each individual reach their goals.
